Well my Halloween here so far has been really fun. Friday night after work I went out with Anneke and Katrina to Katrina's place to get ready. After that we went to a house party up in the hills here. It was a pretty big party for Hsin Chu, DJ and all. There were tons of foriegners there, cute guys too (they actually exist here!). There I met up with Dan, Chelsea and her boyfriend Dillon. Chelsea and Dillon had the best costumes. They some how made the incredibles superhero outfits here, from random red and yellow spandex. A true feit to do in Hsin Chu. Anneke is from South Africa so this was the first time she's celebrated Halloween, which for me is really weird. I love Halloween, I can't imagine not celebrating it. She dressed up as a gothic angel. Dan had on a toga. Yeah the two of us are getting along a lot better now, he sometimes gets into his asshole American personna, which I can't stand, but at least he comes out of it from time to time and seems a bit human. Anyhoo, I was a mouse, which was fun. I was like the only non skanked out chick there. Katrina and her friend Kathleen were porn star pirates, it was very funny. (As you can see from their signs, avert your eyes father). Andrea from work was part of Moulin Rouge, she was Pink. They even choregraphed a dance, she just turned 30 last week, so I think she's trying to prove something... All in all it was fun. It felt like a normal party from back home. I actaully ran into one of Chinese teachers there, she's so fun. Her name is Wendy, and she has a Canadian boyfriend from Regina, so her English isn't as robotic as most of my CT's.
Also this week I finally got my Alien Resident Card, so I'm legally working and living here now. Well technically it's illegal for me to teach kindergarten, but it's Taiwan, and all of the rules here are more like "guidelines". The Chinese name they gave me in pronounced "Gwa Ling She", they try and get them as close to your english name as possible- Lindsay/Ling She. Unfortunately it doesn't mean anything cool in Chinese, but Shannon and I decided that I should just lie and say it means goddess of the wind, or pearl of the stream. Well, something cool. So if anyone asks, you have my blessing to lie and make my Chinese name sound cooler than it really is.
Oh and Kat, Japie has been in a lot of my pics. He's the guy with the beard. No love interest there, just a good friend. Christi I'm sorry to hear about the interviews. The bright side though is that now you have the chance to travel this summer like you wanted which will be fun. We can go to the Phillaphines together and drink fruity girly drinks on beautiful white beaches. Di you have a job now, so you can totally afford to go too! Also I'm hoping that people start donating to the Lindsay Traveling foundation, it still exists everyone. Erin you can just leave your articling position and come too! Oh how fun. I'm seriously going to talk all of you to either visiting me here or going travelling in Asia. Damn student loans....But Kendall you don't have any of those pesky adult things yet, so just save your money and come visit me. Anyhoo I miss all of you guys and I'll try and call you in the next week.

Congrats man, yeah not having a nice place to live really makes everyday life that much harder. If I didn't have a nice little nest to come home to here I think I would be on a plane home right now. Actually I'd prob be at your door, especially now that you have a cool place. Hmm....anyhoo I have to go to bed now (yes it's 7pm, but seriously I'm sick and tired and I can go to bed early if I want to!)

Yo-
Yeah, sorry it took me so long to comment, I've been in the wonderful world of moving. Yeah, it sucked (the apartment we moved into has a weird smell... I can't smell it right now, so I'm not sure if it's gone or if I'm just numb to it... I need to leave and come back. This morning I get to go clean the other apartment. Boooo.
So, it looks like you had a fun Halloween. We were going to go as a black velvet painting (Greg) and the artist (me), but then it turned out the one party we were going to wasn't a costume one. Lame. So now we have this giant cougar black velvet painting in our storage room.
Well, I'm off to go clean. I'll try to call you tomorrow morning.
